====== Etching Tank ====== So I decided to make an etching tank, I made this out of 9mm thick premium acrylic due to it's chemical resistance. The tank has been designed to have an inner tank with a slot at the top that holds the PCB and the etchant. The outer tank is designed to hold a hot water bath if the etchant needs a hot water bath to accelerate the process. The design was done in OnShape and can be found here. The parts were welded together using a type-3 acrylic cement and I did try to use a small hypo-applicator to apply the cement. I also learned what a skilled job that is and how much I have to learn in that area! The good new is that capillary action made up for my lack of skill and I do NOT attempt to wipe any spills. I was able to fill the tanks with water and there were no leaks so I was good to go.
