The Eurorack power connector has the following layout and a 10 or 16 pin connection can be used. I typically use a 16 pin connection and use the 8pin double row pitch 2.54mm double-spaced straight pin male IDC socket box header connector as it shrouds the pins and minimizes the possibility of a reversed connection that could destroy the board. When using a ribbon connection it is a convention to use the red indicator wire for pin 1 to further reduce the chance of a miss connection.
